What actually happens after you order a minibus with Minibus Options?

For many customers, ordering a minibus isn't something they do very often.
Some organisations, such as councils and larger operators, know exactly what they need and send us a detailed specification. Others, purchasing a vehicle for the first time perhaps, may only have an outline of their requirements.

That's where our expertise comes in.

Working together, we develop a specification that reflects how the vehicle will be used, covering everything from accessibility features and seating layouts to step arrangements, handles, heating, air conditioning, lighting, cameras and so on.

Once the specification is agreed, we produce a detailed quote so customers can see exactly what's included before placing their order.

If we're supplying the base vehicle, it's ordered once the purchase order and deposit have been received. From there, our team manages the conversion process, keeping customers updated on key milestones such as vehicle arrival and expected completion dates.

Before any vehicle leaves us, it undergoes comprehensive quality checks and the necessary IVA inspection, ensuring it's ready for the road.

Whether a customer chooses to collect their vehicle or have it delivered, it's always satisfying to see it begin its new role. Some handovers, particularly charities and care homes even become community events, bringing together funders, local dignitaries and the people who helped make the project possible.
